Pure Style Engineering and Design launched in 2020 as a small business based in Joondalup with Roy Bailie, the founder. Tadziwa Stevens joined a year later and since then the business has flourished to a team of seven staff.

Roy is the founder of Pure Style Engineering and Design. He has firsthand knowledge of the construction industry having started out as a carpenter working across Australia, UK, USA and Iceland before becoming an engineer. His ability to find practical solutions to complex problems and proactive approach has become the ethos behind Pure Style Engineering and Design.
Outside of work Roy enjoys being out at sea, camping or watching soccer.
As the Technical Director at Pure Style Engineering and Design, Tadziwa ensures the office runs smoothly. He brings to the team a wealth of experience in civil and structural engineering projects across the residential, commercial and industrial sectors.
Outside of work, Tadziwa enjoys exploring Western Australia’s many footpaths and scenic views, usually on a long run or the occasional race.
Ali is a Structural Engineer with over four years of experience in design, drafting, and site coordination across residential and infrastructure projects. Ali completed abachelor’s degree in civil engineering in 2020.
Ali enjoys the collaborative environment and the chance to work on innovative, client-focused residential and commercial designs.
Outside of work, Ali likesexploring Perth, playing cricket, and learning about new technologies and design tools.
Paul graduated with a diploma in Naval Architecture in 1995 and a master’s degree in Structural Engineering in 1998.
Starting out as a junior engineer designing fibreglass minesweeper ships for the Royal Navy, Paul then spent a few years working on railway train design before moving from the UK to Perth, becoming heavily involved with the Western Australian oil and gas industry for over 15 years.
Paul completed a diploma in building surveying in 2017 and uses this experience to contribute as a structural Engineer to the residential building industry.
Outside of work, Paul enjoys spending time with his two young children. and enjoys surfing, windsurfing, and camping trips.
Jeffry has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and became a Registered Civil Engineer in the Philippines in 2004. Jeffry also worked as a Site Engineer with several construction companies in the Philippines, involved in multi-storey commercial building and land development projects.
Jeffry has over 17 years of experience, working on a diverse range of commercial and industrial building projects, sheds, and garages in Perth.
Outside of work, Jeffry enjoys spending time with his young family and enjoys activities such as fishing and taking long drives across Western Australia.
